Truro Recruitment Fair

We organised our first Recruitment Fair for Truro businesses in July 2022 on Lemon Quay. 

The Truro Recruitment Fair gave recruiters with vacancies in Truro a chance to network with members of the public who were seeking job opportunities. 

The event featured nearly 50 recruiters and featured a wide range of vacancies in Truro and the surrounding area, at different levels from leading Cornish companies and national brands.
 


Marketing Truro Recruitment Fair

To promote the Truro Recruitment Fair we used paid for Facebook advertising with Pirate FM targeting all adults within 15 miles of Truro and a radio campaign. The Facebook posts linked to a Pirate FM webpage and the total reach on social media was 57,976 with 1,457 page views. 
 
We also: 
  • achieved media coverage following our media release
  • put up posters in Truro (in the public realm and businesses) and 
  • bought front page advertising on all eight editions of the Voice across Cornwall (30k circulation, 95k readership).
  • encouraged participating recruiters to promote the event
Thank you to all the businesses and organisations who took part on the day, along with everyone who attended the event. The feedback from recruiters who participated was very positive.
