Hobbyist Day and Classic Car Display
Truro celebrated Her Majesty The Queen's historic 70 years of service with various events during the extended bank holiday weekend in June 2022.
As part of the celebrations we organised a Hobbyist Day and Classic Car Display. Lower Lemon Street featured crafters, collectors, and organisations relating to some of the nations favourite hobbies, featuring demonstrations and displays.

Lemon Street hosted some stunning vehicles showcasing a range of classic cars. We also organised some street entertainment popping up around the city.
On Sunday 5 June the Truro Antiques and Collectables Market, one of the regular outdoor markets we support, joined in with the celebrations and held a market on Lemon Quay.
Marketing
Our events were mainly marketed as part of Truro's Jubilee Celebrations by Truro City Council who achieved media coverage, put up posters, delivered social media on @visittruro and listings on www.visittruro.org.uk.
