Support, Advice and Training

Having invested in an additional footfall counter in 2021, we regularly provide Truro's businesses with footfall reports for the city.

We also offer recruitment support, basic first aid training, marketing and social media training to Truro's resident city centre traders. 

Truro BID has a good relationship with many of the services provided by Cornwall Council and Cormac so we work to support city centre businesses in various ways e.g., if you and your business are impacted by road works or other traffic regulations. 

During the pandemic we provided support to businesses and those working in the city centre by signposting to information, businesses support and grants. 

We also worked with some businesses to implement queue management outside premises during the town reopening phase during the covid pandemic to fulfill the Government's social distancing guidelines (see above).
